During a NASCAR Mexico race in Puebla, driver Carlos Pardo 's car hit the barrier at 120 MPH after being nudged by a competitor. Pardo died 45 minute later after being airlifted to a local hospital. NASCAR Mexico driver Carlos Pardo was killed in a crash during the final laps of a race on Sunday. Pardo was leading when his car was bumped by a competitor, causing Pardo to slam sideways into a wall at the entrance of pit road. He was going about 120 mph. The car disintegrated on impact.
